Sometimes it makes sense to attempt to just set your inner compass to be doing the right thing all the time and that is supposed to guide you in the right path with the right one of people that are needed in your life to be able to do the right thing and achieve something good and that Hashem will keep you happy and healthy and wealthy and in the right direction all the time.

This week in Israel is Parshat  Beha'alotecha  (Numbers 8:1–12:16) — where Aaron is commanded to raise the light in the lamps of the Menorah, and the tribe of Levi is initiated into the service in the Sanctuary. Perfect — the Kohanim and Levi'im in their full glory! Now here's your Torah Shir: --- Shabbat Shalom!  🕯️ This week is Parshat  Beha'alotecha  — "When you raise the light" — and what a parsha for this moment in the world. Aharon doesn't just light a Menorah, he  lifts  it — the verb בְּהַעֲלֹתְךָ means to elevate, to cause to ascend. That's the Kohen's whole job: taking the earthly and raising it heavenward. The crown jewel of the parsha (and really of the entire Torah) is  Birkat Kohanim  — the three-line priestly blessing that HaShem Himself composed and gave to the Kohanim to deliver.
