Read it slowly. 📜 שיעור תורה – ערך העבודה הרוחנית בשם יעקב אבינו חז״ל מלמדים אותנו יסוד גדול בעבודת ה׳: אין הקדוש ברוך הוא בא בטרוניה עם בריותיו, אלא מבקש את הלב, את הרצון, ואת ההשתדלות. יעקב אבינו, בחיר האבות, נקרא "איש תם יושב אוהלים" (בראשית כ״ה:כ״ז). אך אל נטעה לחשוב שתמימותו הייתה פשטות בלבד—אלא שלמות בעבודה, עקביות במסע, ואמונה שגם כאשר האדם נאבק, נופל, ומתאמץ—זה עצמו רצוי לפני ה׳. כאשר יעקב נאבק עם המלאך (בראשית ל״ב), לא רק ניצח, אלא קיבל שם חדש—ישראל. מדוע? כי התורה מגלה לנו סוד: עצם המאבק, עצם ההתעקשות להמשיך, היא הניצחון האמיתי. הרמב״ן מסביר שהמאבק הזה הוא סימן לדורות—שעם ישראל תמיד יתמודד, אך לעולם לא ייכנע. והנה עומק העניין: הקדוש ברוך הוא חפץ בעבודה מתוך מאמץ, לא בשלמות חיצונית בלבד. הMesillat Yesharim מלמד שהאדם לא נברא למנוחה אלא לעמל—"האדם לא נברא אלא להתענג על ה׳… אך הדרך אל התענוג הזה היא העבודה והעמל." ...
